- what are good or bad characteristics of the havanese dog ?
i would like to know from personal experience because i've been thinking about getting a dog.
Havanese are a wonderful little breed.
They are not yappy, they are very bright and learn FAST.
They are a sturdy little breed that have few health problems.
They love kids, cats, other dogs, everybody.
They are CUTE!

- Can I breed my 8 pound female havanese with a 13 pound male bichon?
Would this be safe for my female? I know they cross the 2 breeds to make Havachons but is he too big for her?
Sure - you can, but you risk her life by breeding her to a dog who is that much larger than she is and why would you bother to breed mutts?

I have been giving my dog beniful she eats it when she gets hungry otherwise she wont eat it.
Artemis, California Natural, Canidae, Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul, Eagle Pack Holistic Selects, Innova, Merrick, Nature's Variety, Solid Gold, Taste of the Wild, Wellness and sometimes Nutromax.
